I am a recent graduate from The Art Institute of California ? San Francisco, where I just obtained my BS degree in Media Arts & Animation. Prior to The Art Institute, I received 2 degrees in both Liberal Arts and Digital Media Production at the University of Hawaii. Before moving to California, I was able to work at a small scale independently owned studio, Wiki Wiki Cartoons in Palolo, Hawaii. While there, I was responsible for shadowing and assisting the Owner/Lead Animator Dan Boulos on a weekly basis. I would clean up various artworks, take notes on specific animation techniques, and would get illustration tutorials along the way. I was also able to see the animation production pipeline from an intimate perspective, in real time, with all its unexpected hurdles and sidetracks.
