I have always been a passionate writer and over time have developed a unique artistic style with words. Throughout my time in school I have developed both a formal writing style and an eye for good design aesthetic to aid me in my pursuit of a copywriter or editor position in the Bay Area advertising sector. Though I focus strongly on incorporating quite a bit of copy into the campaigns I've created, more recently I have been increasingly inspired to develop front-end designs for mobile applications. (You can find examples of those in my portfolio.) I honestly like to dabble in every area of advertising, from market research to art direction to writing brand content. I am always on the hunt for new knowledge and more information because I recognize that taking in every bit of society and the world at large can be enlightening and inspiration for new ideas. Combined with a strong work ethic, I can complete tasks with efficient speed and quality to the requirements asked on a wide range of project assignments. Outside of my schooling, I currently hold the position of Assistant Manager at a specialty extra virgin olive oil store called We Olive in the Marina District of San Francisco and have helped to establish a strong community presence for the company for the past two years as both a cashier and manager. My experience working in the customer service industry has helped me build excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills as well as my extended work ethic.
